## Set up Meta apps and properties

### Create a Meta account
1. Create an account with [Meta](https://business.facebook.com/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Once your account is verified, log in to [Meta Business Suite](https://business.facebook.com/){:target="_blank"}.

### Add an app to your Meta account
1. Navigate to **All Tools** > **Business Settings** > **Accounts** > **Apps**.
2. Click **Add** > **Create a new app ID**.
3. Complete the app creation steps.
4. You will need the **Meta Audience Network App ID** to connect with Chartboost Mediation.

### Create properties to your Meta account
1. Navigate to **All Tool** > **Monetization Manager**.
2. Click **Create property**.
3. Complete the property creation steps.
4. You will need the **Placement ID** to connect Meta bidding placements with Chartboost Mediation.


## Connect Meta bidding to Chartboost Mediation
1. Log in to your [Chartboost platform](https://platform.chartboost.com/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Navigate to **Mediation** > **Networks**.
3. Under Bidding Networks, select **Meta Audience Network** from the **Select network** dropdown.
4. Enter the **Meta Audience Network App ID**.
5. Click the + button next to the Meta Audience Network button.


## Set up Meta bidding placements with Chartboost Mediation
1. Log into [Charboost platform](https://platform.chartboost.com/){:target="_blank"} and navigate to **Mediation** > **Placements**.
2. Select the app from the top-right dropdown.
3. Below your metrics graph, click **New Placement**.
4. Select an **Ad Format**.
5. Set an **Ad Placement Name**.
6. Under **Bidding**, click **Select Network** and select **Meta Audience Network**.
7. Enter the **Placement ID**.
8. Click the **+** icon next to **Meta Audience Network**.
