# Liftoff Monetize (Formerly: Vungle)

## Set up Liftoff Monetize app and ad placement

### Create a Liftoff Monetize account
1. Create an account with [Liftoff Monetize](https://liftoff.io/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Once your account is verified, log in to [Liftoff Monetize dashboard](https://publisher.vungle.com/){:target="_blank"}.

### Add an app to your Liftoff Monetize’s dashboard
App(s) must be set up on your Liftoff Monetize account before connecting to Chartboost Mediation because each ad placement is specific to an app.
1. Navigate to **Applications**.
2. Click **Add Application**.
3. Select the **App Store** that your app belongs to.
4. Enter an **App Name**.
5. Your app must be live in the chosen app store.
6. Select an **App Category**.
7. **Connect your app**.
8. Complete the COPPA agreement.
9. Click **Continue**.
10. You will need the **App ID** to integrate Liftoff Monetize with Chartboost Mediation.

### Create a Liftoff Monetize Ad placement
1. Log into your [Liftoff Monetize dashboard](https://publisher.vungle.com/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Navigate to **Placements**.
3. Select an app.
4. Select a placement. Chartboost Mediation supports Interstitial, Rewarded Interstitial, Rewarded Video, and Banner placements with Liftoff Monetize.
5. Complete the **Customization** section.
6. In the Monetization section, set **In-App Bidding** to **Enabled** if you plan to use it in bidding.
7. Click **Continue**.
. You will need the **placement name** and provided **placement reference ID** to connect with Chartboost Mediation.


## Retrieve your Liftoff Monetize credentials
There are 2 pieces of data from your Liftoff Monetize account required to connect with Chartboost Mediation:

- To find the **App ID** and **Reporting API ID**, go to **Applications** and click on the app name. The App ID and API Key are listed under the app’s name.



## Set up Liftoff Monetize bidding network and placement with Chartboost Mediation

### Connect Liftoff Monetize bidding network to Chartboost Mediation
1. Log in to your [Chartboost platform](https://platform.chartboost.com/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Navigate to **Mediation** > **Networks**.
3. Under **Bidding Networks** section, select **Liftoff Monetize** from the **Select network** dropdown.
4. Enter the **App ID** to the **Liftoff Monetize App ID** field.
5. Enter the **Reporting API ID** to the **Reporting API Key** field.
6. Click the **+** button next to the **Liftoff Monetize** button to complete.


### Add the Liftoff Monetize bidding placement to Chartboost Mediation
1. Navigate to **Mediation** > **Placements**.
2. Select the app from the top-right dropdown.
3. Below your metrics graph, select the placement.
4. Under **Bidding** section, click **Select network**.
5. Select **Liftoff Monetize** as the Network.
6. Enter the **Placement Name** to the **Placement ID** field.
7. Enter the **Placement Reference ID** to the **Unit ID** field.
7. Click the **+** icon next to **Liftoff Monetize** to complete.



## Set up Liftoff Monetize waterfall network and placement with Chartboost Mediation

### Connect Liftoff Monetize waterfall network to Chartboost Mediation
1. Log in to your [Chartboost platform](https://platform.chartboost.com/){:target="_blank"}.
2. Navigate to **Mediation** > **Networks**.
3. Under Mediation Networks, select **Liftoff Monetize** from the **Select network** dropdown.
4. Enter the **App ID** in the **Liftoff Monetize App ID** field.
5. Enter the **Reporting API ID** in the **Reporting API Key** field.
6. Click the **+** button next to the **Liftoff Monetize** button.


### Add the Liftoff Monetize ad placement to Chartboost Mediation
1. Log into [Charboost platform](https://platform.chartboost.com/){:target="_blank"} and navigate to **Mediation** > **Placements**.
2. Select the app from the top-right dropdown.
3. Below your metrics graph, click **New Placement**.
4. Select an **Ad Format**.
5. Set an **Ad Placement Name**.
6. Under **Waterfall** > **Ad Groups**, click **Add**.
7. Select from existing or **Create a new Ad Group**.
8. Set a **Name** and **Country List**.
9. Click **Add New Line Item**.
10. Select **Liftoff Monetize** as the Network.
11. Add the **Placement Name** to the **Name** field.
12. Add the **Placement Reference ID** to the **Partner Placement Name**.
13. Set a **CPM**.
14. Make sure **Add to Ad Group** is selected.
15. Click **Create New**.
16. A new line item will be added. Make sure the line item’s **Add to Ad Group** checkbox is selected and click **+Add Selected Items** on the bottom right.
